Christopher M. Veley | Shareholder

After graduating from law school, Mr. Veley honed his legal skills working in large-sized Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington law firms before co-founding Martin & Veley, P.C. in September, 2008, with attorney Lisa E. Martin.  Christopher is licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington.

Given the proximity between Clark County, Washington and the Portland metropolitan area, Mr. Veley regularly finds himself representing businesses, individuals, contractors, and property owners in both Washington and Oregon in a variety of legal matters involving construction law, real estate, and general and commercial civil litigation.  Please see our Practice Area page for more details.

Ms. Veley is a member of a number of professional organizations including the Washington State Bar Association; the Oregon State Bar Association; the Clark County Bar Association; the Building Industry Association of Clark County; and the Oregon Remodelers Association.

Lisa E. Martin | Shareholder

Following law school, Lisa was an associate attorney for three years in a prominent, AV-rated law firm in Longview, Washington. There too her practice focused on family law. While practicing law in Longview, Ms. Martin was active in the legal community serving as a board member for the Cowlitz County CASA, Cowlitz-Wahkiakum County Legal Aid Program, and served as the vice president/President-elect for the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum County Bar Association.

Immediately prior to establishing her own firm and co-founding Martin & Veley, P.C. in 2008, Lisa practiced law in Portland for four years and represented both Oregon and Washington clients in high-asset divorce cases and other family law matters while employed by a Portland family law firm.

Presently, Ms. Martin is an active family law practitioner in Clark County, Washington as well as Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Columbia County, Oregon.  She has also represented clients and appeared in court on behalf of clients in other counties in both states. Her practice includes family law matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, parenting plans, and domestic violence.  Please see our Practice Area page for more details.

When not practicing law, Ms. Martin enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, traveling, and running.
